At first I was a little hesitant to order this product, whether the clay could withstand the heavy pounding n all. Its been over 2 months now and it is tougher than ever. Sturdy product. Kudos to the craftsmanship

Being able to consume something truly organic, whether its the food you eat or something you apply on your body or anything at all, it’s a sort of faith that what you are offering yourself is pure. And bringing this organic essence into something as simple and primitive as a grinding stone truly deserves some real appreciation.

I always prefer to grind spices like ginger n garlic in mortar pestle as it happens to be harsh on spices in mixer and they tend to loose their fiber. Since I bought SeGrand’s Okhal not only has it going good with the spices part but also there’s this earthy aroma that infuses into it wile grinding them
